running groups

Our running group is a friendly and inclusive community that welcomes runners of all levels. We meet twice a week to explore various routes around the beautiful community of Kahnawake, providing a supportive environment to train together. New members can expect a friendly introduction to the group, where seasoned runners are happy to share their insights on everything from proper running form to training tips and beyond.

The group dynamic keeps us motivated, whether we’re pushing each other during speed workouts or celebrating personal bests. We prioritize balancing training with social events, offering everything from monthly yoga sessions to end of month gatherings. It’s the perfect blend of camaraderie and self-improvement for anyone looking to make running a consistent part of their lifestyle.

JOIN THE RUNNERS

The Runners is a transformative initiative that promotes physical fitness, mental well-being, and community connection through running.  From May to October, the program offers bi-weekly sessions (twice a week), structured training, yoga, workshops, and social activities. Rooted in Kanien’kehá:ka values, it fosters cultural pride, inclusivity, and empowerment, strengthening community bonds and holistic health.

Monday & Wednesday at 6:30 PM
